Esta tarde en el Centro Insular de Béisbol “El Burgado” se celebró el doble juego correspondiente a la duodécima jornada de la Liga Nacional de Béisbol División de Honor que finalizó con una victoria para cada equipo.

En el primer encuentro los de Navarra fabricaron 2 carreras en la primera entrada a lo que respondieron rápidamente los Marlins en el cierre de la misma con 3 anotadas y luego 2 más en la segunda, pero los navarros descontaron anotando una en el quinto inning y empataron el partido en el octavo con un par de jonrones de Adolfo González y Héctor Perozo. Ya en la décima entrada el Béisbol Navarra anotó 2 carreras que fueron suficientes para derrotar finalmente a los nuestros por 7 a 6.

En el segundo partido de la jornada, los nuestros se desquitaron y derrotaron al Navarra por 10 a 0 en 7 entradas con gran labor de pitcheo del canario Eric González quien permitió tan solo 2 hits y ponchó a 8 rivales. Richard Montiel, Dewis Navarro y Jacobo Garrido conectaron 3 hits cada uno para liderar el ataque de los de la casa.
