Los Marlins Puerto Cruz se han proclamado campeones esta tarde en la ciudad de Gijón – Asturias al vencer por la vía del Knockout en 4 entradas con marcador final de 11 carreras por 0 y sin permitir hits al equipo rival de Irabia.
De esta manera los tinerfeños conquistan por segunda vez esta copa del Campeonato de España Categoría Infantil. En lo que respecta a los títulos individuales, Freddy González obtuvo el trofeo como mejor bateador del torneo y Juan Pablo Rabelo recibió par de premios, uno como mejor lanzador y otro al ser designado como el “MVP” jugador más valioso del campeonato.
Felicidades a todo este gran equipo integrado por pequeñas promesas del béisbol canario quienes han conquistado un título fruto del trabajo constante del incansable Nestor Pérez Suárez y dirigidos en este Campeonato por Francisco González y Audie Núñez.
