EL F.C. Barcelona de Béisbol se ha proclamado campeón de la Liga Nacional de División de Honor 2011 luego de derrotar en la doble jornada al Sevilla Red Sox el pasado fin de semana. Los catalanes necesitaban ganar ambos encuentros para asegurarse a falta de dos jornadas el título de liga. El F.C. Barcelona consigue este galardon por cuarta vez en su historia luego de haberlo ganado en los años 1946, 1947 y 1956.

Por otra parte, el Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz sigue en la lucha por lograr el subcampeonato y luego de haber dividido en la jornada 15 frente al actual campeón F.C. Barcelona, este fin de semana ha logrado par de victoria frente al C.D. Pamplona por 8-0 y 11-1, que los coloca en la tercera posición a un juego del segundo lugar ocupado por Sant Boi y un juego por encima de los Astros de Valencia.

El próximo fin de semana los de Tenerife viajarán a tierras gallegas para enfrentarse a los Halcones de Vigo en una doble tanda que comenzará el día sábado 9 a partir de las 12 del mediodía.
